The Builder Story

I began my construction career in 1980 with hands-on experience as a carpenter, roofer and siding contractor. As I gained experience with each trade I began a new career as building superintendant with Deluxe Homes in charge of several homes in various communities. In my time with Deluxe Homes, I supervised the construction of single family homes, condos and land development.

My next position was as Production Manager for Prarie Builders. I helped with starting a new division of the company from outside our area in this market. We started off with a new product line, new plans, subcontractors and suppliers. Also, new subdivisions, bidding, job costing and financials. The new company took off very fast by the end of the first year. I had two superintendants, an office assistant and one service manager.

My ambition could not be satisfied with making this company a large success in such a short time. So, along with partners, we started a new home building business called Legacy, Inc. After many hours of hands-on work with even more responsiblities such as: marketing, financials and job costing, our company had grown to be one of the top ten builders in our area. Along the way, we added a management company and a mortgage company. We also tried our hands at development work. This venture proved to be just as successful and rewarding.

Finally, I have the chance to build the kind of homes I've always wanted to build--dream homes. Something I have always wanted to do is build the exact home a customer wants without having to say "I'm sorry, we don't offer that." I also have the opportunity to work hands-on with customers on the designs of their homes.

With employees I have worked with in the past, we have the talent and the knowledge to build any customers "Dream Home." We plan to offer complete customer service in every level of construction. Also, after the home is complete, we provide customer service on any question the customer may have.

This is how RLS Building Corporation was founded and we will continue to guarantee quality construction and customer services for each and every customer.
